YSA Education are currently working with a all through special school in Leicester that provides for children between the ages of 4-18 years. The school is an alternative provision for children with SEMH and challenging behaviour. Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant would be to work 1:1 to support the pupils in either the KS2 class or KS3 class on a full-time basis alongside the Teacher. Class size range between 6-10 pupils.
Role Requirements:
- A nurturing individual with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team, alongside teaching staff.
- Prior experience of working with challenging behaviour.
- Able to use their initiative to support learning.

Requirements:
- DBS on the update service or willing to get one.

- Experience working with SEMH/ Challenging Behaviour (Does not have to be in a school setting)
