Do you have experience supporting children with SEN needs?
YSA Education are currently working with an all through special school in North Birmingham that provides for children between the ages of 4-18 years. The school prides itself on ensuring all children reach their full potential through high standards of teaching and learning. Your role as a SEN teaching Assistant would be to work alongside the class teacher, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom as a whole group support. Class size range between 6-10 pupils and have a minimum of 3 TA’s per class.
Role Requirements:
- A nurturing individual with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team, alongside teaching staff.
- Prior experience of working with children- experience of supporting children with SEN needs would be advantageous.
- Able to use their initiative to support learning

Requirements:
- Fully enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Experience working with SEND.
The suitable applicants must have experience or willing to gain experience within special needs. Support will be provided for any teaching assistants that feel they have transferrable experience.
