We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Reddich. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and mentoring students in the field of maths. You will create engaging lesson plans, provide individualized instruction, and assess student progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maths and a passion for teaching.
Duties:
– Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum
– Teach mathematics to students using various instructional methods
– Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
– Provide feedback to students to support their growth and development
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials
– Utilize technology to enhance instruction and engage students
– Foster a love for mathematics through creative and interactive teaching methods
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
– Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
– Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in proofreading and providing constructive feedback on student work
– Experience tutoring or providing additional support to students with special educational needs is desirable
