A Special school in the heart of Kidderminster are currently working closely with YSA Education to help them grow their friendly team of staff. They are looking for a nurturing and passionate Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to work within their school across the different year groups to provide additional cover. The school supports children from primary age through to secondary and children work in mixed ages classes according to needs and ability. This role would be long term with the potential to turn permanent.
Job role:
- Full time hours (08:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday)
- Supporting children with complex needs, EBD and PMLD
- Working across the classrooms as additional support
- Long term role with the potential of going permanent
- ASAP start date
- Accessible vis public transport
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with special educational needs
- Experience within a classroom
- Must be versatile and happy to work across age groups
- Personal care may be required at times
- You must have a fully enhanced child and adult DBS OR be willing to obtain one
- A positive work attitude and good work ethic
