Our main job is to help schools find the staff they need and help staff find the right role for them. We are in regular contact with schools, always discussing their current and upcoming staffing needs.
A Supply Teacher is a member of staff who temporarily replaces a permanent Teacher. Their teaching assignments may last from one day to a year and may be in the same school or across several schools.
Historically, October to May have been the busiest months, however in the last few years the demand for supply staff has remained consistently high across the academic year.
There is absolutely no cost to register and join YSA Education. The only cost that may be incurred is if a new DBS is required to be processed.
Providing you are signing in and out of school every day, we will take care of the rest for you.

Yes, you have fantastic transferable skills and training that many of our SEN Schools will look for. We will also be able to help you in your transition to education and advise on the best settings.
We will start offering you work as soon as possible, our compliance procedure is very efficient and thorough. The team will get you ready for work as quickly as they can. Clearance can be dependent on many factors including references, DBS and how soon we receive all of your documents.
We appreciate that everyones circumstances and lifestyles are different, we are here to work with you, whether that is one day a week or five days a week.
